Another Failure of the Victim-selection Process

He thought that attacking his neighbor was a good idea. Limestone County Sheriff’s Office: Homeowner attacked, shoots attacker.

Witnesses told deputies that the man was “banging on their neighbor’s door,” and after the homeowner answered, the man attacked and pinned him down.

During the ensuing scuffle, the homeowner pulled out a weapon and shot the man in the leg.

The guy who got shot went home, and family members took him to the hospital.

Oh, and I'm shocked to read this headline: Alcohol a factor as Limestone County man shot in altercation with neighbor, authorities say. Aside from the headline, there is no additional info in that article.

No arrests have been made, and grand jury will decide any actual charges, but self-defense is a human-right.
