Chicago cops were granted a suspension of the mandate... Chicago's vaccine deadline prompts legal challenge from 23 more unions - Chicago Tribune
The 23 plaintiffs include Teamsters Local 700, Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Local 130 and Service Employees International Union Local 1, according to a copy of the legal challenge. They are seeking an injunction to force arbitration over Lightfoot’s vaccination policy — and pause the Dec. 31 deadline for city workers to get fully vaccinated until the matter is resolved — because of what they describe as a violation of their collective bargaining rights.
When did Democrats abandon the unions?
The teamsters are still supporting obozo care ,even though it caused healthcare cost to skyrocket . I wonder who made money on that. Obiden will give money to the unions and they will capitulate .
ReplyDeleteThe ruling elite within the unions are far more left than the rank and file. The progressive left is supportive of the over educated managerial class that are woke Socialists which are in conflict with the working class that the unions are supposed to represent. You can't serve two masters. The progressives are not supporting the worker class while hoping they are dumb enough to support the progressives. Their support for Trump should have disabused them of that notion.
