The "How Dare You Live Without Me" Attitude in Action

Or that is what it looks like to me. Man fatally shot sister's ex-boyfriend in north Harris County, police say

Oh, and Texans are still armed.

Investigators believe the shooting happened during an altercation that ensued in the doorway when the man showed up at his ex-girlfriend's apartment. Brown said preliminary information suggests the shooter acted in self-defense.

When "ex-boyfriend" and "self-defense" show up in the same paragraph, I always think "domestic violence." In this case it looks like an attack that was stopped before it started.

The DA will determine if this is self-defense, and I believe a grand jury will have to be involved. Though I am not a lawyer and I don't play one on TV.

The "How dare you live without me!" attitude never works out in the long run.

Self-defense (and defense of family) is a human-right. And this took place in Texas.
