LA Residents May Finally Be Fed Up

A Los Angeles councilman, Mike Bonin, is meeting with some extreme pushback. LA residents blast proposed homeless sites at beaches, parks

So he wants to allow homeless encampments in more parks and on more beaches. The people of LA are not happy.

But the plan has sparked a massive recall effort by residents who claim that their local parks and beaches are already inundated by tents, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Parents can't let kids go to some parks already because of homelessness. And this guy wants to expand that.

Bonin’s call for the homeless camp sites has now sparked a petition signed by more than 19,000 people who fear their communities could follow in the footsteps of Venice, the Los Angeles neighborhood racked by increased crime and several fires.

And a separate recall petition has gotten 10,000 signatures.

If you push people far enough, they will push back. And while I'm sure most of LA is still too woke to be opposed to anything the Left comes up with, it is a start.
