THE Biggest Failure: London's Mayor Sadiq Khan

Not that long ago, London was one of the safest cities in the world. No longer. London's streets are not safe 'for women or for girls', Sadiq Khan tells LBC

That statement came in an interview with LBC, a news organization in London, about the disappearance and murder of Sarah Everard, who was abducted from a London street at about 9pm on March 3rd, after leaving a friend's home. Still, all he could provide was the usual Liberal claptrap.

He said it was "really important" that men in positions of power understand and empathise with the experiences of women and girls and use it to make positive change.

But don't you dare bring up the possibility of self defense! (Or "defence" in the UK!) You are supposed to rely on the police for that. Well, there's a problem with that stance. Sarah Everard: Police officer arrested on suspicion of murder.

Speaking to journalists outside Scotland Yard on Wednesday morning, Assistant Commissioner Nick Ephgrave said: "The fact that the man who has been arrested is a serving Metropolitan Police officer is both shocking and deeply disturbing."

The only "shocking" thing is that he was actually arrested. It will be even more shocking if he is actually convicted of a crime and serves more than a few months in prison.

As for London's mayor, he goes on about how they are throwing money at the problems, to the tune of £16 million, or about $22.4 million. No details are provided. And I get the idea that they will be all the useless liberal ideas about ad campaigns, and outreach programs, and probably a bit in terms of adding more police.

  1. The police here in London are too woke to address mere safety.

  2. I was in London a few years ago. It felt very unsafe at night. And the police car sirens were always wailing. Anyway, now that London is off my bucket list, I doubt I will ever return.
