When I first ran across this article, the headline didn't say "ex-girlfriend," even though the article said that they had broken up. At least they fixed the language.
She claimed self-defense and said they had just broken up when he showed up at her home, causing trouble, according to police.
If you break up with someone, you should not show up at their home, work, house of worship, kids' school, etc. and "cause trouble." Look up the definintion of "It's over!"
Go out for a drink with friends, or stay in and contemplate the whichness of whatness, but don't be an idiot that I have to write about.
The guy who got shot is in serious condition. The woman has not been arrested, though the investigation continues.
Self-defense is a human-right.
