Final Peaceful Tally: 8 killed, 24 wounded
2019 weekend tally: 5 killed, 21 wounded
2018 weekend tally: 5 killed, 39 wounded
After a summer of insanity, things are back to what passes for normal in the Windy City.
While this weekend's totals are in line with the past few years, in 2014, 4 people were killed and only 15 were shot. But then the cops were not under attack in 2014.
