Involved in an argument in Facebook about the quality of political ads by some Republican candidates that apparently have made some people aghast because they feel they denigrate the “conversation” and are not respectful. They are believers of the concept of a moral high ground that is somehow bulletproof and will triumph above the wishes of the other side, but we must play by proper and polite rules.
I almost said Republicans, but it is not limited to the US. It is why Paris, or all of France, is burning down right now. We can't oppose these policies of destruction, or people will call us names. Yeah, we are past the point of being polite.
