Home invaders are still getting shot. Homeowner fatally shoots man who broke into Lytle home after fleeing disturbance, police say
A man was “aggressive and out of control.” He was causing a disturbance, and police were called. He fled that scene and entered a home, apparently at random, and cornered the homeowner.
After the man entered the home and cornered the homeowner, police said the homeowner used a firearm to protect himself and his family. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
At the site of the initial disturbance, the release states that a female juvenile was found with knife wounds and was taken to a hospital. Her condition was not immediately available.
Is that enough to qualify as a crime spree? Whatever it was, it was ended by an armed homeowner defending himself.
Lytle, Texas is about 20 mile drive southwest of San Antonio.
Self-defense is a human right.
