Too little too late? Maybe. French police fire tear gas during fresh protests
Police fired tear gas at protesters in Lyon, Lille, Toulouse, Montpellier and Nantes, hours after Interior Minister Laurent Nunez warned: "We will not tolerate any violence or any disturbance of public order."
Riots are also breaking out in Marseille. Watch: French police deploy armoured vehicles in Paris and Marseille
In Paris, an armoured vehicle was stationed behind the National Assembly, while in Marseille, security forces patrolled the streets alongside armoured vehicles and a water cannon.
I don't believe that the Leftist governments in Europe can really stop the fall.
