They can cause you to do stupid stuff, which can result in you getting shot. Man shot, killed by loss prevention employee outside Glendale beauty supply store
Police say a 32-year-old man was working as loss prevention at the store when he confronted Edgar Perez Lopez, 33, and Lopez’s girlfriend, who were reportedly smoking pills.
The employee told the couple to leave, leading to a confrontation between the three. Investigators believe Lopez reached for a firearm, and the employee shot him. Lopez was rushed to the hospital and later died.
The investigation is still going on, but the cops did find a firearm and drugs. And this didn't happen in New York City.
Self-defense is a human right.
