Woke Lanterns Writer Begs Fans for Another Chance

Why do the bad writers, and show runners in Hollywood think they deserve chances? In the 1960s through the 1990s, shows that pissed off their audiences, or never found one, got canceled in the middle of a season.

Shows didn't get commitments for 2 seasons before a single episode aired. If you didn't deliver for the advertisers, you were gone. As much as I hate ads, I think we had better shows in the '80s and '90s, and into the early 2000s, than we have today. Much better, in some cases.
