Nobody grabbed an extinguisher. I did not see any evidence that anyone tried. And while that might sound counterintuitive, that's exactly what you want to do when you see it's an EV incident.
Once a lithium ion battery is in thermal runaway, you're not putting it out with a handheld extinguisher. And trying to put it out, it's just going to get you injured.
The video is less than 5 minutes, and has some decent coverage of the fire and the aftermath. Plus the StacheD Training commentary.
