Today's Fun Fact is that there is no place in the UK that's as far south as the northernmost CONUS states - the first 48. Here in Central Florida near the Space Center, our latitude is more like the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the weather we feel isn't just from latitude, but it's a good-sized portion of what we feel. When your Heat Index gives you a warning like, "potentially fatal within one hour" it's not like 52 degrees north, which is London.
