A stepfather tried to kill his adult stepdaughters. One of them was killed, one shot and injured. They ran outside where a neighbor intervened by shooting, and killing the stepfather.
Another neighbor later described the shooter as being in shock.
The investigation is in early days, but the cops did not arrest the shooter, because Washington State has a long history of recognizing self-defense, and defense of others, as a legal right.
Puyallup, Washington is about a 10 mile drive southeast of downtown Tacoma, or about a 30 mile drive south of Seattle.
Self-defense is a human right.
