Aussies have been left stranded for up to five hours over the long Easter weekend, with one viral video exposing the “disaster” state of the country’s electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Several frustrated drivers took to social media to reveal the grim reality of EV ownership during the holiday peak.
That is on a holiday weekend, not an emergency situation. In the event I had to evacuate from the path of a hurricane, one of the things I had in the back of the SUV was a jerry can or 2 of fuel. Because 10 gallons of fuel provided an exta driving distance to get out of the impacted area. You can't put a 5 gallon contain of electricity in the back of your SUV.
