How to Remove Copilot AI from Your Windows PC

From ZDNET: How to remove Copilot AI from Windows 11 today

You don't have to live with Microsoft Copilot in Windows 11. Here's how to get rid of it, once and for all.

At least for now. There is a high probability that Microslop will reinstall it the first chance it gets.

This has one method using Policies, which at one time only applied to the Enterprise Edition of Windows, and a second method of editing the Registry, which comes with its own set of issues. Proceed carefully.

Also from ZDNET: AI PCs aren't selling, and Microsoft's PC partners are scrambling.

Microsoft has gone all-in with its plans to turn the Windows PC into an AI-powered 'agentic OS.' But at least one PC maker says consumers aren't buying the Copilot hype.

Gee. People don't want to pay more for features that they don't want. No, that isn't strong enough. Features they actually HATE. Color me shocked.

  1. Or...you can dump windows altogether and go Linux. I did about 6 months ago, and I won't be going back.

    1. That is what I did about the time MS published all of the crap that would be in Win11. Well, and given that my old PC wouldn't support Win11 anyway I needed to do something
