First He Got Shot, Then He Was Charged

Road rage is never a good idea. Man charged with attempted murder in York road rage shooting

According to investigators, [72-year-old Michael] Bean had driven aggressively and argued with an 18-year-old. At one point, Bean was said to have gotten a pistol from his car and shot at the 18-year-old’s car. He shot back in self-defense, injuring Bean’s arm.

So after the 18-year-old showed better sense than the 72-year-old man, and showed mercy, unless it was bad aim, the 72-year-old was charged with a crime.

Michael Bean was charged with attempted murder, pointing and presenting a firearm, and malicious injury to property.

Stupid is, as stupid does.

York, South Carolina is about a 35 mile drive southwest of Charlotte, North Carolina.

As for the bad aim, I would not have been aiming at his arm.

Self-defense is a human right.
