It Wasn't About Car Break Ins

Journalists HATE self-defense. No charges filed against homeowner who allegedly killed Lincolnton teen amid car break-in

So yes, these "teens" were breaking into vehicles in the area. This isn't what lead to the shooting.

Police said at some point, one of the teenagers was confronted by a homeowner in their backyard, who shot them. The teenager was taken to a hospital, where they died a few days later.

No charges were filed because self-defense is a legal right in North Carolina.

The teenager was taken to a local hospital, but passed away a few days later.

Media bias? What media bias? This teen was shot over a break in, not because he threatened a homeowner in his own backyard.

I'm also curious about the "teenager" label. Were they 14 or 19? One is a juvenile, and the other is a legal adult. We aren't told.

Lincolnton, North Carolina is about 30 miles northwest of Charlotte. The driving distance is between 35 and 40 miles depending on the route you choose.

Self-defense is a human right.
