This Case Should Never Have Been Brought to Court

Not with the clear case of defense of others. Arcadia man acquitted in shooting, cites self-defense to protect family

I'm sure Quindolyne "Q" Wilson's race had nothing to do with the fact that the police arrested him, and the DA tried to convict. I'm sure. I'm shocked that you would even think such a thing.

According to a police report from Arcadia police, Wilson stated he shot the victim because the man was hitting the children and had ignored multiple warnings to stop. Wilson remained at the scene and explained the situation to officers, but he was charged with a felony count of shooting with intent to kill and spent nine days in jail.

This case had nothing to do with Justice. The DA thought he could win. DAs love to win, and by and large they hate self-defense.

The man who was shot survived and was taken to the hospital.

A protective order was filed and granted against him a few days after the incident.

So it would seem that self-defense, and defense of others, IS legal in the state of Oklahoma. I'm sure that DAs across the state hate that. Self-defense is a human right.

  1. The Justice system is infested with leftist lawyers who do not care about right vs. wrong. Their main objective is to see if they can get away with advancing their personal agendas.

    1. It isn't just the Left. A lot of "tough on crime" DAs want cases they can win - no points for Justice - to prove they are tough on crime. They're politicians, after all.

    2. Though, there are a lot on the Left that just hate the idea of self-defense. "How dare you not rely on the state!"

  2. Shooting an unarmed person and claiming myself defense is a very tough case to win. And a situation that almost always means you will face charges. Without more details it's really tough to speak about the merits of the case.
