Another song courtesy of WXRT's Saturday Morning Flashback. In September they were flashing back to 1995. Some of the music from that era was good. Other music was less interesting. By the mid 90s I had mostly abandoned radio in favor of cassette tapes in the car, which is where I did most of my radio listening. Part of that is where I was living. Chicago had (still does) decent radio stations. Other parts of the country not so much. By the end of that decade, I have left Chicago, and radio, behind.
John Hiatt is an artist I didn't listen to back then, and while I can't say I search out his work today, I do like his music when it comes to my attention, either like this song did, or via social media. I don't hear it too often from my streaming services.
This song is "Cry Love" by John Hiatt from his 1995 album Walk On.
