Two neighbors had a dispute. So of course our boy decides to get liquored up and go confront the neighbor.
Investigators say they spoke with Aceto's girlfriend, who said he had been drinking "heavily" throughout the night and early morning hours.
So after drinking to excess, he armed himself. He was in his neighbor's front yard. He was asked to leave. He didn't leave; he opened fire.
The neighbor returned fire in self-defense, striking Aceto in the shoulder, deputies say. Aceto then fled the area while shooting toward the neighbor, who was not injured during the exchange.
Authorities say Aceto was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Spring Hill, Florida is roughly a 40 mile drive north of Tampa.
Are we shocked that this is essentially a "Florida Man" story?
Aceto now faces attempted homicide, shooting into an occupied dwelling, armed trespassing and discharging a firearm in public.
Self-defense is a human right, and this didn't take place on the island of Manhattan.
