The Death of Iryna Zarutska

What happens when you don't lock up bad guys? They continue to do more bad things. From The Other McCain: ‘Blood Visibly Drips on the Floor as the Defendant Walks Away From the Victim’

The headline quotes from the affidavit for the arrest last month of Decarols Dejuan Brown Jr. in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Iryna Zarutska was a 23-year-old Ukrainian who fled the conflict with Russia, only to be killed in North Carolina by a man who should have been in jail.

There appears to be no interaction between the victim and the defendant” — this deadly crime was entirely unprovoked. Brown just casually unfolds his knife, gets up and plunges the knife into the neck of an innocent woman who never even said a word to him.

Click thru for the details, including how his own mother kicked him out over safety concerns, and why he was still on the streets.

Judicial immunity is a crime in itself. Releasing guys like this should have consequences. Or in other words, judges never pay the price for their bleeding heart's "compassion" to the criminal. How about compassion for his victims?

You may not have heard of this crime because it is just a local story with no national interest.

Here’s a list of all the news networks who have NOT covered the Charlotte NC story:

  • NYTimes
  • CNN
  • Washington Post
  • MSNBC
  • NPR
  • USA Today
  • Reuters
  • Axios
  • ABC News
  • PBS

I haven't checked all of them, but the frist few on the list had not covered the story as of Sunday morning, at least according to Google.
