And we’re back! So what did we miss? We heard about some masked individuals carrying large weapons downtown. Naturally, we assumed another “teen takeover” or a smash-and-grab, but when we saw it was Fata$$ and Mayor Panix complaining, we then knew it was law enforcement (which we all know is a sickness and needs to be eradicated).
Final numbers for noon Friday through 6 AM Monday were 5 killed, and 13 shout and wounded. While this is much better than the past couple of insane years, it is on par with 2015 or 2018.
So how many people should be murdered in Chicago over an average weekend before the state and the city decide they need more law and order?
