A lifetime of exile in Cuba for murdering a state trooper in New Jersey ended Thursday. How to Become a Good Communist : The Other McCain
JoAnne Deborah Byron, a/k/a JoAnne Chesimard, a/k/a Assata Shakur was a Communist, a murderer and a terrorist. She was still a fugitive from justice when she died Thursday in Havana, Cuba.
First let's review. From the Wiki (always a questionable source):
In 1977, she was convicted in the murder of state trooper Werner Foerster during a shootout on the New Jersey Turnpike in 1973. She escaped from prison in 1979 and was wanted by the FBI, with a $1 million FBI reward for information leading to her capture, and an additional $1 million reward offered by the New Jersey attorney general.
People forget how crazy things were, or they never knew.
Given the extraordinary craziness of our own era, with political violence rampant and apparently increasing, many people have forgotten how crazy things were in the 1970s. Back when I was in middle school and high school, you had all kinds of wacky radicals running around. The nation had gone through a series of crises — the drama of the Civil Rights Era, the assassination of JFK, the Vietnam War, etc. — and a lot of people couldn’t handle the stress and just lost their minds.

I guess the 1970s were long ago, and JoAnne Chesimard/Assata Shakur was forgotten. Otherwise I can't explain why wasn't she pardoned by the AutoPen?

I hope her death was hard, painful and demeaning. This commie b!tch should have faced a firing squad decades ago.
ReplyDeleteI think living, and watching the world forget her was probably harder. Death comes for everyone eventually
DeleteHonestly I was in college in the 70's and totally forgot about her. The definite out of sight out of mind thing. Hopefully she is in hell and the devil is giving her special attention
