Man shot dead in Eastman after gunfire exchange | 13 WMAZ
He was walking through a neighborhood at midnight shooting a firearm. He then approached a house, and threatened the residents.
Gordon and the homeowner shot at each other, and both were injured during the shooting.
The press release says Eastman police responded to the shooting, and found Gordon after he was shot. Gordon was taken to Dodge County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, per the release.
The homeowner was treated and released.
Eastman, Georgia is roughly a 55 mile drive southeast of Macon, or 140 mile drive southeast of Atlanta.
Georgia is fairly in tune with self-defense being a legal right, and it is hard to see how anyone could see this as anything but justified, though I'm sure there are some Leftists who disagree. In any event, self-defense is a human right.
