The video contrasts a statement by a police chief from Canada, and a statement from a Sheriff in Florida.

I seriously considered moving to Polk County. (It's about halfway between Orlando and Tampa.) Only because of Sheriff Grady Judd. He is a national treasure. There are several Florida sheriffs who have modeled themselves on Sheriff Judd. They are probably safe places to live as well.

"Just give them what they want," is something I hear all the time. It's a lie. It has always been a lie. (What should a woman do when confronted by a rapist? What should a parent do if ...) Cooperate With Criminals is not the winning strategy the gun-hating part of the Left would have you believe.

When someone says "You don't need an AR-15 to hunt," I remind them that the 2nd Amendment was not adopted because the first Congress was worried that deer were going to overrun America.

Of course being armed in your own defense is also not a guarantee. Death and next winter's snow are the only guarantees in this life. But here is a different strategy than pretending to be a sheep.
