This is what I had to say 21 years ago. Thursday, September 23, 2004
The end of the so-called Assault Weapons Ban has seen more spin coming out of the left, than you can shake a stick at. The media has been bemoaning the fact that we will soon see automatic weapons everywhere. Of course, the Clinton gun ban didn't touch on automatic weapons at all. These are covered (present tense) by the National Firearms Act of 1934 - which is still in place.
I hope this will be a blogging clearing house for the real deal about this and other lies of the left.
Zendo Deb - 357 Magnum owner
In the days before F*c*book was available to anyone on the internet. Google was still a reasonable way to get information off the internet. Before the first iPhone was released. Was it a more civilized time? Not sure.
I was living on my boat in Florida. (That photo isn't MY boat; it is the photo from the brochure for the production year, or the year before.) Sailing vessel Zendo. It was fun while it lasted.

Sadly the Archives from that era are offline. So many of the links are dead - 21 years is a long time on the Intertubes - that the Leftists were flagging all of the posts as SPAM.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful boat. Gregb
ReplyDelete1979 Hunter 37 Cutter. Designed by John Cherubini - a well-respected American naval architect who specialized in boats around that size. It had a small interior, by today's standards, but it sailed like a dream
DeleteHow long have you been doing the blog? Is the post a random day or around your first post?
ReplyDeleteI know I started reading you around the time I first started reading blogs regularly, but that was only around '09.
That was the 1st entry. The whole blogging thing was new, relatively, there were a couple I read weekly. The nonsense leading up to the 2004 election made my blood boil. Like the lie about automatic weapons in the quote. I had time on my hands, and so...
DeleteCongrats, that is a LONG time on teh intarwebs... and a lot of people have fallen, or just fallen by the wayside in that time.
