Electric Boat Explodes in the UK

So, if an electric vehicle explodes, and burns for a few hours, does it still qualify as "net zero emissions?" Canal cordoned off and marina evacuated after boat explodes and burst into flames in Northants

Firefighters believe that batteries thought to be made up of lithium-ion were the cause of an explosion on a Northamptonshire canal boat.

There is a decent photo, and some details at the link above. There is some video that I like embedded below.

The Gayton Marina, Marina in Blisworth, is about a 5 mile drive southeast of Northhampton, or about 65 mile drive north of London in the UK.

This is a video from a couple in the UK, who have a boat near the site of the explosion. Electric Day Boat Explodes at Gayton Marina.

The The Vlog Couple UK also have a follow up video on the boat fire. That video deals with some of the denial of the EV zealots about the dangers of lithium-ion batteries. That is worth a look as well.

Hat tip to MGUY Australia.
