Good Guy With a Gun Stops a Bad Guy with a Knife

You can also file this under, "Don't bring a knife to a gunfight." This all took place in Spokane, Washington, the most populous city in eastern Washington.

A man attacked a woman at an apartment complex while holding a knife, police said.

The woman was able to get to safety when a resident took her into their apartment, police said.

Police said the man stabbed another man who was standing in a stairwell at the complex, killing him.

He then ran into a concealed carry license holder out walking his dog.

The man, still holding the knife, then ran toward a dog walker and was shot dead by him, police said.

Police said the dog walker shot him in self-defense.

For a deep Blue state, Washington has a long history of recognizing self-defense as a legal right.

That's what anti-gunners never talk about. How it feels to be powerless in the face of evil. They talk about the risk of having guns, but never the risk of not having one. That's not fantasy.
