How would you respond to uninvited people in your home at 2 AM?
A suspect is dead and another is on the run after a homeowner opened fire early Wednesday during an apparent home invasion, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department.
One was shot and died at a local hospital. One ran like a rabbit.
SPPD says the home invasion appears to have been targeted and there is no threat to the public.
And this didn't happen in New Jersey or the Northeast, so it is unlikely that the homeowner will be charged, though the investigation is ongoing.
