On the run for 20 about years, and ICE finds them in 2 months? Trump tops 50,000 migrant removals including fugitives who evaded justice for 20 years | Daily Mail Online
When immigration agents were first ordered to deport Ivan Oramas and Santos Maradiaga-Villalta, President George W. Bush was in the White House and the iPhone was a distant dream.
That was over two decades ago—yet both men were arrested this week, according to federal data reviewed by DailyMail.com.
Oramas, 61, has convictions for sexual battery and aggravated assault. He was ordered to be deported in 2003. Maradiaga-Villalta, 40, was convicted for smuggling aliens into the U.S. He was ordered to be deported in 2006.
It's amazing what can happen when you let cops enforce the law.
They were among over 50,000 illegal immigrants removed so far, a Department of Homeland Security official revealed to DailyMail.
At least the DailyMail is using the term "illegal."
