Riverside County, California is a geographically large county just east of Los Angeles and Long Beach. It streches from about 40 miles east of the coast, to the Arizona state line. Chad Bianco is Sheriff of Riverside County.
The description goes on to say that “the bill would additionally clarify circumstances in which homicide is not justifiable, including, among others, when a person uses more force than necessary to defend against a danger.”
In a statement on Tuesday, Sheriff Bianco said the bill would tie the hands of residents while coddling criminals.

Self-defense is a human right, and guess the Democrats are dismayed by the fact that it was catching on in California.
In many professions which expose a person to high risk, the lament is heard that their decisions and actions in exigent circumstances are then deliberated over for days and weeks, sometimes years, by a panel composed of multiple people who weren't there.

Time and again it has been proven that to write a policy, regulation, law to fit all, or even most, circumstances is a waste of time and usually results in a miscarriage of justice.
ReplyDeleteToo, as some circumstances may appear to be a like, therefore should require the same response, is absurdly idiotic.
Any pol seeking to take the decision away from he who was in peril and seek to enter it into some form of a risk matrix after the fact should find themselves serving the sentence which they sought to place upon the first party.
