There is a whole "debate" among fans of Kamelot about whether Roy Khan or Tommy Karevik is the better singer. I don't think it matters. Roy Khan retired from music, or at least from Kamelot in 2011. He made a comeback in 2018. (That was with his 1990s band, Conception, and they released an album in 2020.) And the word debate is in scare quotes, because at times it feels more like a blood feud.
Mari Youngblood is the wife of Kamelot's guitarist, Thomas Youngblood. She has made several guest appearances on various Kamelot albums.
Shagrath is founding member and vocalist for Dimmu Borgir, a Symphonic Black Metal band out of Jessheim, Norway. Shagrath has shown up as a guest vocalist on a couple of albums I like, such as this one. That said, I don't really care for Black Metal‡.
This song is "Memento Mori (feat. Shagrath & Mari Youngblood)" by Kamelot from the 2005 album The Black Halo.
‡ From the Wiki we get the following definition of Black Metal. (The Wiki is always a bit suspect, but I think they have this right.)
Black metal is an extreme subgenre of heavy metal music. Common traits include fast tempos, a shrieking vocal style, heavily distorted guitars played with tremolo picking, raw (lo-fi) recording, unconventional song structures, and an emphasis on atmosphere. Artists often appear in corpse paint and adopt pseudonyms.
I will never understand the appeal of Low-Fi. We have a century of recording technology, and the advances in that area have all been about making the music better.
