HeyJackass! brings us the January Wrap-up
We didn’t publish an official estimate for January, but we figured 40 homicides was a safe bet given the long term January average along with there’s nothing to indicate a course change when it comes to this stuff. The new State’s Attorney will need time to undo eight years of Kim Foxx.
As for February, much like Groundhog Day the movie, it always marks the low point of the year and may get touted as “remarkable” by some “leaders” and their corporate stenographer friends.
The totals for January 2025 in Chicago are 42 killed, and 110 shot and wounded.
