This is really a story about East Hampton, but I'm sure Southhampton rich folk feel the same.
The East Hampton Police Chief did say that his officers won't interfere with ICE agents, just that they won't be doing any deporting.
I honestly can't tell if the paper and/or the journalist is trolling, but the comments are definitely trolling.
Not everyone who lives on that portion of Long Island known as The Hamptons is wealthy, of course. Some are police officers, or landscapers.
