A Captain America Movie That Should Have Been Falcon's Movie

Sam Wilson is Falcon. Steve Rogers is Captain America.

Jay/Drunk3P0 calls this "The Worst Captain America Movie Ever Made." I think I will take his word for it, and take a pass.

I have nothing against Anthony Mackie; he is a fine actor. He did a great job as Sam Wilson in the few places in the movies that I saw him. I didn't watch the TV show Captain America The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, mostly because I heard from a lot of people that it was awful, but also because it was on a streaming service I don't subscribe to.

But Captain America is not a mantle that can be passed from one character to another. Yes, I know, they tried it several times in the comics. It always failed, and it seems like it failed this time as well, except with a much larger budget.

This could have easily been a falcon film. He really wasn't Captain America to anyone just in a few photo ops at the White House. Other than that he was basically the Falcon trying to save his friend, and get his friend out of jail.

The spoiler-free section of the review is only the first minute and 15 seconds. The rest of the 12 minute video contains spoilers. You have been warned. Personally I have no desire to see Disney Marvel butcher another Marvel character, so I won't be seeing this film.

Disparu also has a video that just came out, and it made me laugh. Captain America Reviews NUKE Marvels Last Hope. But then I appreciate Disparu's sense of humor.

If you were a Variety journalist you'd probably pray for something to take up the inevitable drudgery and despair that is your life, in the hope that you can forget about your miserable existence again until you can go unconscious for another eight hours.
