Today's song came out in 2023. I'm not sure if I like it or not. When I first heard it, the verdict was "No, I don't like it." Today I am more ambivanlent.
I've only heard two or three times. I originally tripped over it because it was on the Spotify Kickass Metal playlist in April of 2023. I don't listen to that playlist as much as I used to. So while there are parts of it I find interesting, and the guitar solo is certainly pretty good (about 4 minutes and 20 or 30 seconds in). I'm just not sure the song works as a whole. I would be interested in other opinions.
If you have access to Spotify, their Kickass Metal playlist keeps track of the top Rock/Metal songs by number of streams. It is definitely a better playlist than their Pop Music playlist.
This is "Nobody" by Avenged Sevenfold. It was the first single released from their June, 2023 album, titled Life Is but a Dream....
