HeyJackass! celebrates 12 Years of Chicago Values
On January 25th, 2013, we launched a questionably named site with the simple idea of illustrating “Chicago values”. To this day, we still have no idea what Chicago values are or what they are supposed to represent. No matter its representation or meaning, it made for a fantastic tagline.
In the past 12 years, we’ve recorded over 7,700 homicides, nearly 33,000 shot and wounded, hundreds of “death investigations”, thousands of carjackings, two dozen “Brandon’s Bodies” and over a billion dollars in CPD overtime all of which have resulted in over 1 million manually entered, stupidity-related data points.
Click thru for some discounted merch, since the work should be supported.
