HeyJackass! considers 2024 in Chicago with the annual Year In Review
We’ve successfully transitioned from the early 2020s being “not as bad as the nineties” to now being not as bad as the early 2020s. Given the below-average, boarding on flat-out retarded, continuing to step on one’s dick leadership of the city, it’s interesting to see these numbers come in where they are. Maybe the less cops, less tools, more rules has been the winning formula missing for all these years.
Chicago's totals for 2024 were 610 killed, with another 2,444 shot-and-wounded.
That is less than expected, given that the Democrats decided to hold their convention in Chicago.
We were surprised, yet thankful the DNC didn’t turn out to be the shitshow we and everyone else expected, which fell in line with the other trends over the year.
