A 14-year-old boy was arrested on Thursday to face charges in seven recent robberies of CTA passengers along the Red Line.
Chicago police released a community alert about the robberies on November 29, saying between two and seven robbers were involved in each mugging, which took place aboard train cars. Many of the victims were physically attacked during the crimes.
Because he is a minor, very little information has been released.
