Faun is a group that is a bit hard to categorize. They have had some significant changes in personnel over they years, and the style has shifted as well. They are usually called Pagan Folk or Darkwave. I'm not sure that matters much.
On the downside for Americans, they are usually singing in German, and I know people hate that. (You'll get over it.) Here is a link the lyrics and their English translation.

As far as not liking music in other languages, how much modern music that is supposedly in English that is actually decipherable by the average english speaker?
ReplyDeleteWhile I agree with your point, if you tell the average American that a song is in German, or Spanish, or whatever, they can't be bothered to even listen... Though to be honest my friends have the same reaction to anything that includes the Death Metal Death Growl.
