This Guy Seriously Underestimated His Intended Victim

I would love for the gun-hating part of the Left to explain to me how the world would be better if this woman had not been armed in her own defense. (I'm not expecting them to get back to me any time soon.) Armed Intruder Shot by Homeowner During Break-In Attempt in DeSoto, Texas - Focus Daily News

You could also file this under, "Texans are still armed; home invaders are still getting shot."

He followed her back to her home in a dark truck, but she noticed and ran into the home, armed herself, and called 911. He was in the back yard, trying to gain entry to the home. So she shot him.

Upon arrival, officers encountered the victim in front of her home. She informed them that she believed she had shot the suspect, who was likely at the back of the property. Police searched the premises and found the suspect lying on the ground inside the garage, with a pistol nearby. The suspect, identified as 35-year-old Octavio Flores Mondragon, had sustained two gunshot wounds, one to the chest and another to the face.

DeSoto, Texas is a suburb of Dallas, being about a 15 mile drive south of downtown.

The would-be bad guy was taken to a hospital, where was reported to be in critical condition.

The suspect faces charges of Burglary of a Habitation with Intent to Commit Another Felony, a first-degree felony. No motive has been determined.

Evil doesn't need a motive.

Self-defense is a human right, and this took place in Texas, not in New Jersey.
