Throwing a rock at a 76-year-old is low. In Texas, it is stupid, or do you think the old guys in Texas are not armed?
So the rock throwing genius was trespassing at 3:30 AM.
The 76-year-old homeowner told police a man came onto his property and assaulted him, so he shot him, according to a news release. The 27-year-old man who was shot was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
The guy who got shot was shot in the leg.
You can file this under "Texans are still armed." The investigation is ongoing, so no one has been arrested. Sadly, they cannot charge this guy with felony stupidity, though my guess is that they charge him with assault for the rock.
