This event was in doubt, because Tommy Robinson was arrested in Calgary on an immigration charge. This is patently ridiculous, because Canada has a huge illegal immigration problem. Tommy had a round-trip ticket to return to the UK, but the "authorities" in Calgary said he couldn't leave, and he couldn't travel in Canada. Why? They had some excuse, but basically it was because they don't agree with him politically.
The corruption in Canada is on display for all to see.
It seems to have backfired on the authorities. They released him, and dismissed the charges after one day. I don't think they anticipated what they got. In Canada, most of the media is under the direct control of the government. But not all. And they ended up with a MONSTER Public Relations problem.
