Self-defense is becoming more prevalent in the Windy City. CCL holder thwarts carjacking on Chicago's NW Side
He was just walking to his car when three armed guys jumped out of a sedan and demanded his vehicle.
Police said the man then pulled out his own handgun and opened fire on the three unknown offenders. After the man began opening fire, the offenders got back in the black sedan and ran away.
No one was injured, and cops have no one in custody.
