Understanding it requires at least a rudimentary knowledge of how math works and how statistics works, and many people lack those skills. It also takes the desire to confront the reality, which is that Hamas lies and lies and lies. If a person’s view of the conflict between the Palestinians and Israel is based on these lies, a mind is a difficult thing to change.
