When I was first introduced to The Defiant, it was via a political discussion of the way people in music (and the arts generally) were ostracized for not getting the jab. In the case of Pete Prada, he had a medical exemption due to an autoimmune condition. That didn't matter. He didn't get the jab. He was out. The other members of the band, some of them anyway, were treated in a similar fashion.
So the first song by them I featured was a bit protest song. I actually think today's song is a better song.
