The Anti-Self-Defense Crowd Will Only See a "Teen, Tragically Shot"

They will actually not mention the self-defense aspect. Teen shot, killed by Fort Worth resident who reported attempted break-in for the 4th time

So the anti-gun crowd will see a teen tragically shot. That he was shot in self-defense, while he was breaking into an occupied home is not of interest to them. Don't clutter the issue with facts!

A woman who had reported three previous attempted break-ins at her south Fort Worth home shot and killed a teenage boy who the resident thought was trying to gain entry Thursday, according to police.

"Teenage" in the vernacular of 21st century journalism could be 18 or 19 years old. In other words, a legal adult. But that doesn't sound as good as an eeeevil gun owner gunning down a "teenage boy."

We don't know how old the would-be home invader was. It doesn't matter, since he was a threat.

You could say he suffered a failure of the victim-selection process.
