Another 3D Printed Gun Pops Up in Brazil

From Impro Guns: FGC-9 used in narco shoot-out

An FGC-9 mk2 variant used in a shoot out in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo yesterday.

Click thru for the police photo of the gun, and the drug haul. The image at right is of an unrelated FGC-9 Mk2.

FGC-9 stands for F@^# Gun Control 9mm. It is a 9mm submachine gun made from 3D printed components together with some metal tubing and other things you can find online or at a big-box hardware store. Some components can be purchased, if you live in a place where that is legal, or can be produced locally. There is even a set of instructions for rifling the barrel using Electrochemical machining.

I wonder just how many of these things are out there considering we’re seeing them pop up every other week and just how many more will be in circulation within the next couple of years?
